At what age do you introduce solid food to a baby?

Most parents anticipate feeding their baby solid food for the first time. What do you think are the signs that a baby is ready for a solid food?

This is different depending on each child, dependent on their weight, and development. If you are not sure, check with your pediatrician or child practitioner, but most babies start with some solid foods at about 4 months. They have to be able to swallow the thicker food, and eat from a spoon. Starting with a thin cereal/milk mixture is best. (milk/formula)

4 to 6 months. before that, there could be problems because if you start feeding them too soon there is a bigger chance the kid will develop food allergies. That was what my doctor told me.
